Some pictures of my Microsizers. Some w/zz parts.

I just started collecting ZZ/Microsizers a couple of weeks ago. Im 33 years old and still have a blast with kids toys.. Anyway, here is my collection so far. I still have a few special bits on order.

BTW, I know someone is going to ask what kind of camera I used. Its a Canon EOS D60

I had the same rims on the RX-7 for a while, but I think I like these better. The RX-7 is almost a ZZ as it has ZZ gears, wheels, tires, wing, and the NOS motor.. It really does handle better with the ZZ front tires.

On Edit : it also has a Z-Car heat sink as it holds the ZipZap motors in better.

just use a marker or black paint to paint the small metal part in the front rims....itll make the rims match more

how did you do the front wheel mods? did you just take the whole front wheel with axle off zz and pop it in your bit? or did you cut the axle and take them out that way?

I just used 2 550EX flashes (off camera) bounced off the ceiling. I didnt have enough room to open up my umbrellas.

As you can probably guess my other hobby is photography... At least the mini RC's are cheaper than camera equipment.

Yes I used the wheels and axle. Its the easiest way to do it and everything fits just fine. I did have to mod the chassis as pointed out in the 6th photo.

Yeah I used the whole rear axel from the ZZ... I think I have Microsizer tires on the rear and ZZ tires on the front. The tires will fit both ZZ and Microsizer (except for the small fronts).

As far as speed and handling goes. I cant really tell the difference in speed, but handling is much better.

I usually modify my chassis a little before putting the ZZ motors in. As usuall I use my favorite plastic cutting tool the soldering iron...

Im using the NOS motor in one of my cars and the Turbo in another.

Here is a photo of a modified and un-modified chassis:
