Best bang for the buck clone?
I'm ebay hunting for my first mini RC car. I think I've decided on a bit char-g clone, but I'm overwhelmed by the different kinds out there. Can any anyone here guide a rookie on his first purchase?

I've had good luck with the mini movers on ebay, and also micro Q's. My wife has a OEM thunderbolt, and after a little TLC it's very consistent. Good cars for the money. Check around on ebay. There are lots of S/H scams, but some good deals...

Thanks for the tips. Can you fill me in on the shipping scams? I'm fairly new to ebay as well.

They make you think your getting a good deal because the price of the car is cheap, but the S/H is triple what it should be. I honestly saw one new guy on ebay buying OEM bullets, and putting right back up for sale. He bought the cars for $16 including S/H, and was selling them for $1 plus $20 S/H
Like I said in a earlier post, there is one born every minute...
Who do they think they're foolin?

If you buy a couple of cars it's a good deal, but if you only want one, the S/H is gonna kill ya from Hong Kong, and your gonna wait 3 weeks for it. Shop around for us sellers. Search under mini rc cars us.
I hope this helped.

If you can hold out for a while we'll be offering a new Bullet which will be incredibly inexpensive yet still offer some of the things that other bullets lack, such as the proper clear shell.

That's the best news I've heard all day, besides my new car was shipped 2day. Let us know when they come in. Thanks

No final numbers yet but will keep you posted. We got samples from the factory the other day and they are quite good compared to other bullets. In addition, we can choose to have them not put all the cheesy decals on!

That's great... It saves me the time of peeling them off to paint it.

Guys, I'm SO confused now!!!!!! SO many damn clones!!!!!!! So many damn ebay options.....
I think this is what I want.....
a telescopic antenna
a 2.2 motored for $25 max including shipping
or
a 2.6 motored car for $30 max including shipping
So many damn clones and options, I don't know what to get. Oh yeah, if its a Japanese car, it has to be an RX7 since Ford owns Mazda. I'm extremely against japanese cars.
