Question Zip Zap Mods

I WAS JUST WANTING TO KNOW IF THE ZIP ZAPS HAVE A "CRIPPLE CAP" IN THEM AND WHERE TO LOCATE IT AND REMOVE IT FOR GREATER RANGE. IF ANYONE COULD HELP ME OUT I WOULD APPRECIATE IT

No, they don't. My range is fantastic. Who need 40 feet with something this small anyway?

What's your frquency? If it's 49 mhz, then that's probably why it goes so far. If it's 27 mhz and it's going that far, HOLY CRAP. Mine only goes 10 feet or so. Did a Cat 5 antenna mod and extended the range about 10 more feet. I really want to know where a cripple cap is.

I really don't think they have a Crap Cap. Granted, my 49mhz has better reception than my 27mhz, but they both can go definately over 20 ft.
