Clear Bodies

Ive never painted one of these clear bodies.Just got the wrx clear and black. Plastic looks alittle milky to paint underneath, also not sure it would hide all the body molding. Im guessing it should be painted on top or has to be, any ideas. I want to make it silver/chrome finish. Also any tips on tinting windows, dont want to black them out but cant have them totally clear with lights in them, want a tinted look.

Is the tinyrc formula 34 the new motor, and what does it compare to?

One more thing, the posts people use for making joystick controllers, are those from old parts of other controllers or can the joystick parts be bought new and where?

Now if I can figure out how to make my seiko kinetic work in my bit ill be set~

you generally do have to paint these things on the outside. as for the tinting, you should be able to go to a hobby store and get some clear black paint, or ask them what kidna paint you should use. they will have it there. as far as a chrome color. you might have to get special paint for that. once again the hobby store is going to be your destination. many paints say they are chorme in coloring but just turn out to be silver. so you might have to paint a different color under the chrome paint to get the desired results. either way i saw some chrome paint at the HS yesterday and they had a RC body that they painted parts of it with and it was amazing.
