Major problem please help

I opened a 27 mhz controller up and it will no longer go into a charge mode. I checked for dirt, bent/ broken wires nothing. It was a perfectly working controller before i opened it. So i opend a 49mhz controller to see if anyhting was diffrent and to see how the wiring was. I swear if i fix this i am never opening another controller because now the 49 mhz controller will not work but will charge and the 27 mgz controller still will not go into a charge mode. So i have two cars not working. Can someone please tell me what i'm doing wrong?

man this one is pretty hard to figure out without seeing what i can recomend for the 27 mhz is that you could build a custome charger in the controller ill post a link and you should go to controller mods for the 49 mhz i would take it back apart since it does not work at all and make sure you have everything
aligned right and check and make sure you did not pull out the antenna wire
that would keep it from controlling the carhttp://webpages.charter.net/mattydiah/zipfaq/

Check the wired going to the charge jack. Are they connected?
If both controllers are ZZ can you charge the 27mhz car on the 49mhz? Its ok. Charging circuit is the same. Its different only on the RF side of the fence.

If it chrges then there is deffently somthing wrong on the 27mhz controller. Else its in the car. Can confirm by trying to charging the 49mhz car on the 27mhz charger.

Also sounds dumb but have you tried fresh battries? A ZZ take a lot of current to charge a car from two little AAA batries.

As usual thhe following is at your own risk.

If you have some electronic skills and a meter can use the working/non working one to trace it down. Used this to figure out unknown stereo amps and receiver that went bad.

If the 27 is bad, can do the following checks. Will need a secmatic avaiable from the FCC using the FCC ID number on the back of a controller.

Get fresh battries in both controllers.
Open both controller.
Use a meter to compare different point between the two. Should see some difference between the two. Odds are that is the problem area. Can be more than one point but will help to figure exactly what went wrong.
