My new clone is impressive.

I just came back from the hobby shop and low and behold no more microsizers but plenty of cyclona clones. I won't get into the story about how the guy was trying to tell me that they were the original bitchar-g. What I do wanna say is that I picked up the bullet clone that they are carrying, it says precious but the packaging isn't like the ones I've seen. The body is a good quality clear plastic and the chassis is a light grey. What impressed me so much about this car was the torque of the rotor. speed is equal to a 2.2 but that's on carpet. The thing flips on turns at top speed. I'm gonna go and put this into my bit and my Zipchar-g.
I will put up pics if any one wants to see.
Also the pinion and gears are green and the rotor is yellow.

I have three Precious Clones. All of which are 2.6 (i think)

I came across one with a motor that was labelled 2.2, and mine all are quicker, which is why I assume I have a 2.6.

Also, they all have green gears.

Update

I am gushing with joy. I've been playing around with it and I am glad to say that with it stock I can nearly pull a wheelie. The front end comes way up but don't stay there for long and this is on my kitchen floor linoleum. I don't know about 2.6 I've got a few 2.6 and none of them have this much torque. I would love some more info on this clone. I opened the pcb and saw a yellow jacketed bat.

Attack of the clones!

This is just my opinions, but I think some of these clones are BETTER than the Bits! Yes, that's right!
My Shen pulled small wheelies and rolled when I got it too, now it's a screamer with good handling thanks to what I've learned over just the past 72 hours!

If I had spent 30-40 dollars on one of these cars, I'd probably be trying to convince myself that I got something better too!
But the sad fact is that with a few notable exceptions, there isn't a whole lot of difference between Bits and good clones, other than price.

The thing you get with a Bit is known quality right out of the box, no questions.

You can get the same or better from a clone, but it requires research (Thanks to Tiny RC and Quest for Madness!) and the ability to obtain the "good" clone in question.
My shen isn't even listed in QFM's list, an indication that this game is moving very fast! (pardon the pun!)

I'm going to the hobbyshop again today and picking up a couple more. At $12 a pop It's still cheaper to buy 2 than it would be to buy 1 microsizer.
***Update***
The motor is equivilant to a 2.6, but with better top end. My dks 2.6zz has the same amount of torque as this clone motor but my kit racer 2.6's and my tomy 2.6 are week in comparison. I still haven't removed the bat but it acts like a nimh.

You have a picture of it? Sounds like one of the MotorWorks I picked up from WalMart. It's clear with a green chasis. Has a BMW looking front end. It also has the dual magnet steering in place of the dual coils. It too is my favorite clone. I believe it's Bensu's latest attempt at a micro. I really want to know, cos' I think WalMart quit carrying them and I need to know where to get more.

EDIT:
Found a pic I posted of it. http://tinyrc.com/forums/showthread....s&pagenumber=2 - Is this it?
