Delayed turns to one side...

My microsizer has been having issues with making right hand turns...when the car is upside down, it goes left and right no prob, and when its running on a hard flat surface with a fresh doublecharge (I have to charge it twice to get it full, no clue why) it turns both ways just fine, but after about a minute, I can only turn left, when I turn right I have to let go of the forward button and then it will turn the wheels, and I can go again, and this is really pissing me off. My car is modded so I can't return it or send it in to be replaced, so what am I to do? By the way I'm in college, and $30 is like my entire funding for 6 weeks.

Also, where can I get rare earth magnets, and what can I expect to pay? Do hardware shops carry them? I'm going to my hobby store tomorrow, I'll see if they have them, but they suck so I doubt it. All replies are greatly appreciated, thanks guys.

I would just like to make a public annoucement that I'm retarded, and I must have misspelled "rare earth" when I did my first search, but I found out that radio shack has them, part number 64-1895, and they're about $2. Thanks for taking the time to read my post though. I'll let everyone know if they solve the problem.
