Twin Speed Transmitter conversion!!!!
I think it would be possible to do a twin speed conversion on the bit char g transmitter.
This possibly could be done by intercepting the forward button, and having something which pulses a signal to the car, therefore running it at a lower speed, this could be switched. Rather than giving the car the FULL WHACK of power it usually gets.
ne ideas?
Im gonna scour the net for pulsing circuits, I have read something about using a all in one flashing led.
NE ideaS??? u know it would b good, it could be as popular as the cripple mod!!! n we could all play a part in it!!!!!

Tomy already does that on some of their cars, and correct me if I am wrong, but I think you can buy just the controller if you want.

I know they make them, but the range is supposed 2 b poor apparently, it saves having 2 buy1 also!
I dont think it would be too difficult to make!
What do u think?
what does Ne1 else think?
This rc stuff is gonna b addictive!!! :-)

Wow, the self pulsing LED's could prove to be very interesting if that would work. If there were different pulsing rates in those, with a 3 or 4 way switch, you could potentially create a 4 or 5 speed remote. I wish i knew more about electronics.
Also, can you run a boosted car with a unboosted controller? I understand that it would then only have one speed

These pulsing leds need a min of 4.5V to work, so there goes an extra battery, mayb we could somehow wire up a variable resistor, and attach this to a sprung trigger, so we would have proportional speed!!!!!
Im gonna play about w this soon, them leds start at 50p!!!! I may or may not work, if it doesn't then im gonna get a pusling circuit, we will do it!!!!!!!
Comon every1 lets all scratch our heads together!!!!

If the boosted car was running at the same frequency as the boosted car, then i cant c the prob, I think normal char gs run at full BOOST -as in power all the time, the booster controllers just run it at slow, and fast, where the standard 1 is just fast only!!!!
Im no expert, but is all logical surely!

Hum. There is that Japanes site. Same one with the home built semi. He uses a PIC chip to add more speed settings. Also there is a turbo pin on both the IC in the controller and possible from the IC on the cars PCB. Its under the epoxy goop. if you could gain access to the turbo outpin on the IC in the car could use to varry the speed. Basiaclly hoe a boost car works I think.

Here it is.
http://www.age.jp/%7Eex2/bit.html
WIll need to dig a bit.
The TX2/RX2 chip set boost pins.
Pin 6 on the TX2 in the controller and if was a normal IC on the car, Pin 12 as turbo output.
