Someone give me the low down......

I think I'm gonna start ordering LXX's cause they are half the price. Now I know that they are of a cheaper quality, but how cheap could they be?? They are the #1 clones after all......Do they get the same range??? Oh, I also know that the higher motors won't work, but they come with 3.0's already. Should I be talked out of this or is there nothing wrong with this decision?? Let me know!!!

They are the best clone. They should come with a 3.0 motor too. Body, tires, gears, everything was built very nice. Handle the best out of all the clones I have. Even beat the Z-car. I'd get one. JMO Let me know where you're buying them from. I got them for $19 with shipping. If you found them cheaper...hook me up.

bitmod1 has them for $15.50 and $16.50 and toyseast.com had them for like $10

guys one ebay selling them for $7.50 + $8 or $9 for s&h....

ALOT cheaper than Tomy bits, so if I screw something up I won't really care as much!!

Many things you should be aware of! Go to www.toyeast.com and check their LXX guide...it should be there somewhere.

Are you guys referring to the 27Mhz problem? Or are there more problems I should know about?

I'm not sure if this is the guide you were talking about

http://www.toyeast.com/lxx00.htm

but anyway, I have one LXX and they have updated their batteryboxes to accomodate any type of battery. So if you got the newer revisions of LXX, you would not have a problem with batteries.

I have a 27mhz LXX and I am not aware of the 27mhz problem.

Pulled this quote off of microrcimports.com

The 57MHz LXX Loctite car can be influenced by any 27MHz controller at a range of around 12 inches. Please be aware that purchasing this car may lead to interference when racing the 57MHz against 27MHz cars.
Sucks it's the 27Mhz controller. They're always the closest to their cars. If it was vice versa, you can just tell the other racer to stand back a few feet.
