3 cell AAA in transmitter

I saw this on another web site and as I happen to have some AAA NiMH rechargeables I thought I'd give it a try. Sacrifice life of the transmitter batteries for more power to the car while charging (although I now almost exclusively peak charge the cars on my supernova) and give a potential boost to range. The batteries I used were fairly dead but still functioned. I am cycling them now and will assess range hopefully fairly soon. (Might be hard to really test until tomorrow at work where I have more room).
