steering spring
ok from playing with my steering so much i have mangled my steering spring a little. i got my ride to turn both ways pretty good but it isnt perfect.
has anyone found a makeshift way to make a spring or a source of wire that is the same diameter or any other way to give it the right amount of stiffness?

I just did made a replacement steer spring last night from one of QFM's suspension springs. Took me a little bit of tweaking to get the car to turn left and right equally, but once done it worked as well as the factory steer spring.

Why dont you guys try the spring in a floppy that pulls the metal cover back into place? Seems small enough, and about the right hardness.

because it is too thick and the tension is too high. it is the right length but way too thick i need something thinner.
btw i played with my spring a little last night and on carpet it is almost perfect but on a slick surface it barely turns. oh well, it flys on carpet now.

ack i went through 2 springs and cant get my bit turning right.. it turns in circles constantly. can turn left fine, but it wont turn right. No wires have broken off, so its puzzling.
