No Reverse Jumper Switch
I'm stumped. Here's what I did:
I made myself a jumper connection with an old computer motherboard jumper pin. I connected one wire to the same place the red wire connects to. It's the same contact that touches the positive side of the battery. The other wire is connected to the same spot the yellow wire is connected to the battery. I have not touched any other wires.
Ok, here's where you help me troubleshoot...
With the jumper off the pins, the car runs like normal.
With the jumper on, the car runs forward at normal speed, but reverse is gone.
With the yellow wire disconnected completely from the PCB (I tested it), the car runs with reverse gone, but it will only run with the jumper on the pins (obviously).
So in conclusion, no performance gain or loss. I'm now left with a toggle for if I want reverse or not.
