i covered this on my FAQ/About Us page but very quickly here: the research & technology that goes into the creation of this hobby grade miniature r/c model is extensive. unlike other models where previous design work & ideas can be pulled, the dnano is unique incorporating many features never seen before in micro r/c. in addition, i believe kyosho is attempting to build value and attract a customer that values their investment. a car so tiny is bound to be relegated to "toy" status if the features & price don't differentiate it. this is one of the many reasons kyosho didn't just release this model to any outlet. they took they're time finding it a home and that was intentional.

of course i'll say yes... even if u don't race it, its a collector's item IMO. those believing the price is going to drop soon i think are misled. it'll take years to recoup the R&D for this project. get one now, pick up the hop-up parts, take care of it & enjoy
