fix'n zz
My beloved red f150 took a header while testing purple NOS motor with red NITRO gear. I was pinning in hard at the edge of the coffee table and then the dog bumped the table causing my to oversteer and lose it off the edge of the table. Probably about 2 foot head on collision with the hard wood floor. My ZZ stopped working.
Please help a brother out, I have a race scheduled at my nabours tonight and this is my only chassis/controller.
Thanks.

We're going to need to know more information than that.
Is this a ZZSE or a regular ZZ?
Does it still turn on?
Does it still turn the front tires?
If you get no power at all, I would think that your battery probably got knocked out. You'll have to take the circuit board off and make sure the battery is properly seated.

It is a regular ZZ, that is why this is not posted in the SE forum. DOH
When I hit the throttle The gear moves about 1mm. Almost like its stuck.

Is it stuck?
If the gear moves, you know you've got power and the connections are good.
Next question, when it moves the 1mm, does it stop trying to move afterwards? Does it keep trying to turn when it locks up when it has full power?
Have you taken the axle out and make sure there isn't anything lodged in there?
Are you using the same color transfer and axle gear?
If it's binding, you need to look for something that's causing it. If it's only moving a mm and stopping, it sounds like a bad battery, battery connection, or the batteries in the remote are not charging it.
The reason I ask about the ZZ or ZZSE is we get new people here that don't necessarily use the forums properly.

I fixed it by just doing a full diagnostic rebiuld on the unit. So some mechanical device had probably come loose and obstructed the fulcrum on the some rotating part.
