I wanna make a dyno......
I found this steel tec box in my attic with a mess of parts that are useful. i know how to build he basic layout but i need to know wut would be good to calculate the speed and such, what would i need?

There are two ways that i learn in ETC Class.. Magnet, and reflect. you will need to build a stand and have some wheels on it, so that you could place the car on the wheels. then have the wheel spin a bigger wheel, once done you could glue a magnet on the big wheel and have a sensor calcu how fast the magnet go round, using processing chip you could program all the math calculation it needs to calcu and then display. same goes with the reflect, which will reflect a light back to the sensor and so-on so-on.
