6-cell guys... tires?

What are you finding is the best tire to use? My favorite place is the skate park. When the kids are all gone, it's a great place to stunt. It's got a slick lacquer over the flat areas and flat texture not unlike an asphalt tennis court for the ramps, pipes, and bowls.

I need to buy aluminum front axle cups, I already have the rears, but I'm limited to RWD until I beef up the front axles.

I'm gluing the tires to the wheels, and I'm not losing tires, but I'm chewing up the hard tread compound tires pretty quick and I've even flatspotted a few.

If nothing else, I'll just experiment. My setup is FOOGLY right now. It's not near as impressive as some of the XMODS I've seen but for now I'm pretty happy with it.

Drivetrain Upgrades:
Ball Bearing upgrade
AWD Upgrade Kit
Rear Drivetrain
* Hand-made "locked" rear diff (solid axle)
* AtomicMods Precision Axle Cups
* AtomicMods Axle Shafts
Front Drivetrain
* Gear front differential (peg-leg open diff)
* Regular plastic AWD components for the front axles

Power/Speed Upgrades:
6-cell NiMH (7.2v)
Stage 2 XMODS motor/gear set

Chassis/Suspension Upgrades:
AtomicMods Billet Aluminum Steering Knuckles
AtomicMods Billet Aluminum Steering Tie Rod (0*)
XMODS Suspension upgrade
Custom-made rear camber adjustment screws
XMODS aluminum Motor mount/heat sink
Full tire upgrade kit (Tires glued to wheels)

Appearance upgrades:
Nissan Skyline body bodykit upgrade (A lot of good that does, my skyline body is torn to hell and back)
Chevy C5 Corvette Body
Ford SVT Cobra body and bodykit upgrade
Command Logic head/tail lights
Command Logic underbody neons (green)
Wheel upgrade kit

Setup:
Nissan Skyline
Front suspension: Medium springs on upgraded damper shafts
Rear Suspension: Hard springs on upgraded damper shafts
Front Tires: Hard tread compound
Rear Tires: Hard tread compound
Motor: Stage 2 XMODS
Gearing: 3.82 (Blue, 11 tooth)
Toe Alignment: 0*

6-Cell mod, front:

From behind with the body on:

Camber Screws (under the control arms, close to the wheels, hanging from the rear deck):

Aluminum steering bits:

She ain't pretty, but she sure goes fast!

And a really slow friend (built from my pile of spare parts, most of which are stock):

When I'm not racing, I put the Corvette body on the built-up one, but I can't fit 6 cells in it.
