where2buy?
I'm going to retire the X-mods red Supra and want an IWaver. Does anybody know of a good place to buy these? I don't want to get it from Toy-East because their shipping is a major rip-off.

iwavers have been out for a while joe. you might check ebay for some but be weary of clones of the clone. or be sure your buying the right clone.

Shipping from Toyeast is expensive, but remember, it is coming from China. Your best bet, if you go with Toyeast is to get a friend or two to buy with you and split the cost of shipping. It is also better to buy several items, like an extra body or two, an escalation motor, etc. so the shipping cost/product ratio is a bit easier to swallow.
Toyeast just got some new body styles in for the iwaver...Ford GT40 and Porsche Carrerra GT.
You may want to consider holding off for a while though. Iwaver is coming out with an MR02 version, an outlander version, and a mini-z monster version. It may not be until later this year though.

yeah, I know about the new models coming out but I want an MR01 also, so a can guage the difference between it and an Xmod. I just didn't want to pay shipping from HK and frankly don't trust companies from HK or Singapore.

if you are buy right now... get the Iwaver, it is as good as an MR-01 (unless you are a mini-z pro then you will see slight differences that are nothing really) ... the price from Toy East is actyually good after the shipping price because everywhere else charges the same price plus more shipping... Toy East is the best place to buy as of now... and they have the new GT-40 bodies in which are not made by kyosho and they look like they are killer... also they have a convertible porsche but it is not to my liking... check it out, you wont regret it.

The 02 version will be out in September (late) and the Overland will be out most likely before xmas and the moster will be out in 2005.... there is a chance that the overland may not be till 2005 also because i've heard conflicting news from the same reliable source.... but the guy said, he wants an MR01 as well... definitly get that over the xmods.

You should buy from Toy East, because even though the shipping will be 20 bucks, the total will be less than what anyone is charging in the US.

ohhh those things are i wavers..... hahahahah i cant belive i had that in my closet for two years and didn't know what it was called.... i always thought they were generic mini Zs,
did you know mini z bodys fit on the i wavers.. well mines does

I think IWAVERS are new, and its not a generic miniz. And the IWAVER is built for all parts of the mini-z mr-01 chassis. So that should mean bodies too

u guys are actually pretty dang wrong.. iWAVERS CME OUT 2 YEARS AGO, and were recently discovered that tehy were good.
