with shell on, i threaded the wires for the battery pack through the holes where the spoiler would be atatched and secured it with duct tape.

the only side effect ive found, it that the car doesnt seem to be able to reverse anymore, even with the cells removed.

6 cells fried my servo on my civic. I have a new supra chasis now. My RSX's servo just fried as well...I'm not sure why. I had no hops ups at all...It just went up in smoke..Now i have to take that little mother back..

the battery holder was taken from an excalibur mini cooper's charger. i just snapped it off.

There may be something wrong with your battery holder.
Try the 2 AAA holder from RS. It's only $0.99.
