when you take apart a spinbrush istead of only using the maganets you can use the whole motor by sodering on the copassitors and wire connectors!!!!

you could do that, but the top speed is horrible. you are going to get a better engine if you take out the sb magnets and put them in a stage 2 can. a stage 2 with sb magnets will slaughter a regular sb motor in a race

The cans are identicaly. The endbell on the S2 has a brass bushing which isnt all that good, but better than the plastic that the armature rests in on the SB enbell.

Armature on the Spinbrush will give you more torque compared to the S2, but less compared to the S1.

Personally, I used to use a SB armature in my Xmod with great success until I started winding my own.
