2. when u say masking tape u mean any kind of tape?
3. when i get paint do i buy spray paint?? or buy normal paint and use an airbrush or do i just paint with a normal brush??
1. primer is used if you dont feel like taking the time to sand, it basicly allows paint to stick to surfaces (note pint wont stick to an xmod unless you appy a primer or sand it down.
2. by masking tape we mean the blue tape found at stores called "painters tape" it dosnt let paint get through the tape so you use it to cover store that you dont want to paint . e.g. windows
3. painting is best by either spray cans, or if you want to spend some more a air brush is great, i personally use spray cans and am impressed (use plastic kote or tamiya paint) brushes are used for small details like turn signals.
1 primer is used to make paint stick better and give the color a clean base to cover. wether you sand first or not i belive you should always use primer
2 masking tape is found at the hard ware store it is paperish and is off white or blue
3 use rattle cans or airbrush for large areas where you want smooth paint use the brushes for details
