motor problem?

i did the sb hybrid w/ 11t and now. my range is a little lower and the car takes off from a stop slower than before but is freakin fast after 2 seconds. on carpet it wouldnt move unless i push it a little. it sucks having a car that starts off slow when dragging about 15ft. did i do something wrong? i need help guys.

did you put a resitor and a capactitor on the motor like the regular XMOD motors have? that might help the range.
