My Xmod's new playmate...
Of course, the X's are being treated like the red headed stepchild...

Nice!!!
Your RC budget must be unlimited. Very cool truck. How long will it be before you start modding the heck out of it???

It's actually the Mini Z Monster, a little different than the Overland. Keep your eyes out over at www.mini-zracer.com in the shop for them to be in stock soon.

what changes did they make to the overland to make that. it is the same chassis, same suspension, same rwd, but from what i can tell it has bigger wheels, a wheelie bar and different battery covers oh and modded suspension towers to fit the body up high

I can't tell you first hand the changes, I have never seen an Overland in person, I just said that based on what I have read. Sorry.

i would go for the minit all the way, bigger motor better electronics (doubt kyosho has changed the electronics of the overland) and probably better quality. dont get me wrong, i LOVE my overland.

To tell you the truth, I'm a bit dissapointed with the Mini T. It is slow out of the box, barely runs thru the grass. I'm waiting to get a 6 cell pack and modified motor for it though. I've seen videos of a Mini T running a brushless motor and it was insane.
The Monster Z is a lot of fun, I have played with it more today than I have with any my other trucks all week.

It has different shock towers, battery clips, longer suspension arms, wider gearboxes, different gearing, different body, and a wheelie bar. when the parts become available you should be able to convert your ol to a monster for less than buying the rtr. i might convert my ol but i just got my mini t so the ol will have to wait.

i hope the front knuckles are metal. i bet the platic ones will break sooner with the added stress the bigger wheels puts on them. i really wish miniz wheels didnt have the bad offset. they could get away with plastic parts if the wheels mounted near the center like xmods, minix and pretty much every other r/c available. mine are broken right now and the rims are shot too. too many 2foot jumps ;p
forget overland... i call mine 'over-air'
