Looks like a ghetto neon mod. Did you take the lights from the sockets and just aim them downwards? I'm thinking about adding 2 more lights into the light kit . What color goes best with a yellow skyline?

Yea I think that he just took the LEDS from the sockets and placed them downwards. As for best color for a "yellow" skyline I'd put maybe greens LEDS.

Here is a quick demo of what I'm working on, so it's not really even looking flow, but I will fix that in the final form. Again, still work in progress.

This is still early work. It is 5 brake LED's wired to the light kit. I plan to wire up 6, and then move them up in the body, and put reflective tape under and around the inside of the body. That will help evenly disperse the light.
Sorry for the bad pic, red doesn't come out to well in pics. I may do this to a different color car. Also, you can wire up normal LED's you get from RS to the light kit. I have tried it and it works. I may do a different color and stick them on one of my other cars like the blue Skyline.

They were left over from the other running light mods I did. If I was to spend that much just for this, I would just go buy one of those tubes.
