Need help making a decision.

I have one of the origional ZZ starter kits and i am looking to get something new. My question is, should i get a new Super Slick from TRU or should i save my money and get a new XMOD. Please help me decide. Also if anyone could tell which one performs better, handles better, and just has better build quality that would be great. Thanks. Bad Company i know you have many rc cars so i am hopping to hear from you.

Well, I mostly only have Zip Zaps SE's, Xmods, and couple Super Slicks and MS Pro's. Soon to have Mini Z's and Losi Mini T. But, of the ones you mentioned, if you have the space to run them, the Xmods would be my choice. As for quality, overall I think the Super Slicks are great. I haven't had or heard of anyone else having any trouble with them.

The Xmods just came out and some people seem to be having some issues, so we'll just have to wait and see. It's all a personal preference. Do you have the space? How much do you want to customize? How much you want to spend? Etc.

XMods are garbage!

Out of the ones you mentioned, the X-Mod sounds the best, but I tested one in RS and it is junk. If you can't afford to buy something better like an Epoch Indoor Racer or a Mini-Z right now, then get the X-Mod. They're pretty cool. Just don't get the all -wheel-drive upgrade, they screw up the handling, according to a guy at RS and the hobby shop owner.

Now, I wouldn't call an XMOD garbage. Some of the r/c's that you can test drive arent always the best. Because they have been used by other people. Also sometimes things are missing. Like the XMOD in my radioshack is missing an antennea and the controller is all sratched up. As for the AWD, it is supposed to improve handling. I dont know why you would think it screws up the steering.

Are you saying you would or wouldn't call them garbage? I don't know if the AWD kit is bad or not, I've just been told that by a few people. The one I tested was in pretty good condition, the guy took it apart in front of me.
