Getting back into thi
It's been a while since I've posted here and played with my cars. I have a tackle box full of parts, cars, busted PCB's, etc. I picked up a new ZipZap the other day and was really impressed with the performance of the "new" orange motor. I wanna check out the purple one too but cant find it.
Have they modified the ZZ PCB or are the motors that much faster than the old stock ones? I remember having to swap out the Microsizers PCB and solder it into the ZZ shell to get decent performance, but the new ZZ out of the box hauls ass.
Anyway, I did pick up a Perfection 4.2 the other day and so far I'm not impressed. It is more torquey than my "Pink" 3.? motor I bought a long while ago. The thing that really kills me is that I cannot find a better, faster moter that I currently have in mt microsizer. The motor came out of some clone I picked up at a hobby shop when I first got into this stuff and to date, I still have not found a faster motor.
On a different note, what are you guys using to keep these little boogers from either flipping over or just spinning out of control when just applying some throttle? Are there some new mods or wheels that I don't know about? Sorry for the long post. I'm getting into the hobby again and just wanted to air some questions and comments.
