i was at shopko today and saw a new clone. it's a road gear pro micro racer. shopko has a whole line of cheap road gear rc's. it's like their own generic brand i think. they copy every rc out there. these were $10.00 so i thought i'd try it. the bodies and controllers were cool, so i thought it might be good for parts if nothing else. first of all, the controllers are way cool. joysticks,(like mga's) folding tele antenna,(like ZZ's) charger button,(like motor works) belt clip & flip up car cover(like Z-car's). the charger base is on the front of the controller. very nice controller. cool bodies. low profile, a little square, cool colors: mf blue wrx, mf red evo, black skyline, silver ?. ms type wheels. very quick 2.6, but low gears. changed gears, it hauls. great steering cool little car. i really like this car. the bodies actually look more proportional than ms. the wings actually fit the size of the car. they're not as cartoonish as most bits. everything is interchangeable with bits but the bodies are a little different. i like it better than my ms's. 27mhz & 49 mhz. getting another one tomorrow. check out shopko, see if they got em. it's definately worth your time.
