Question Help!!

my bit has been recently having steering problems. it turns left fine but it barely turns right. it will turn, but very little to the right what could be the problem?

It might be the magnet. Take it apart and re-center it again.

Chris,

Underneath the clear PCB cover there is a little screw that has to be taken out before you can disassemble the front of the car. There are tabs on both sides of the car in front. lift these tabs a liitle bit (just enough to lift it off). Once you take off this piece you ca nsee what everybody is talking about. Sometimes the steering magnet will come loose and cause the steering to be screwed. Re-center the magnet in your car and put a little drop of glue to secure it. TEST it before you put everything back together. Hope that helps

Also try opening up the steering housing. I was running mine in the workshop at work and due to the amount of swarth on the floor the magnet was picking it all up. After a while the steering ceased to work and after brushing sown the outside it still wouldn't work. on opening up the steering housing I found some small shards in side which were stopping the magnet moving.

thanks alot. I opened the bit up no prob and recentered the steering magnet. now it corners perfectly. had quite a time putting it back together, though
