Why would you call an Accord an AE86? Just the paint doesn't make it an AE86. If this is a joke, it doesn't make any sense.

What are you talking about ; I like it.

Has the panda paint scheme, but I just don't like the AE86 label on it. Maybe call it Accord Drifter (even though its FWD, but hey, BCGs are RWD)

of course its a honda. and u cant deny that the accord body looks somewhat similar to the corrola. so i gave it some finishing touches...other than the clearcoat smearing the lines some, i think it looks nice.

started with a clear body.
i taped off all the windows with masking tape using a utility knife to cut the edges. pita.but well worth it.
two coats of white primer.
let dry.
taped off the top half of the car.
spray painted the bottom half black.
paintbrushed around the wheel wells black.
painted a white trim line with a paintbrush around the whole car.
painted the headlights silver and the taillights red.
clearcoated the whole car.
let clearcoat dry enough so that it's not tacky..but not totally dry so u can remove the tape off the windows easily. the paint is still somewhat flexible at this point and will get fingerprints if u press too hard.


i should have let the black dry _completely_ before clearcoating...it bled a little into the white..next time i know better.
