Which Battery in the Shen clones?
I just received my Shen clone last night and was wanting to do the 2 cell mod to it but there is no label on the battery so I can no determin which battery it is. It says on the directions that it can run for 6-8 minutes with it's better battery.
So does it have the 50 nicad or the 110 nimh or what? I know it can not be the 150 nimh but one of my other cars had a 110 nimh.
Any help would be great!

most clones tend to be 100mah nicd or close to that. what color is it?

It is yellow, I have another 110 nimh and I was wondering if I could use that as the second cell in the dual cell mod with it? I just was not sure if they are nicad or nimh.....
I have an extra nicad 50 and the 110 nimh!!..My Tomy Bit came with a nicad 50 and I upgraded that to the 150 nimh. And some cheesy car my kid got which I ripped apart had a 110 nimh in it.
I just need to see if I can use one of the spares I have so I could do it tonight.

Mine is yellow and it came with a 3.0 motor too!!
I just bought some 21 gage wire and some new batteries and some shrink rapping so tonight or tomorrow is going to be solder night!
By the way, I just got my new 18 wheeler mini rc truck and man it is pretty quick right out of the case. I got one for me and my son shipped for like $22.00 on Ebay. I think it was like $7.50 for each truck plush shipping. I am going to crack it open tonight and check it out. I know it is a dual battery and I am pretty sure the motors are hired wired even without opening the case yet.
Tomorrow my other two cars show up! One microsizer skyline and one shen skyline both with mods and ground effect kits..

i have yellow ones and blue ones and green ones.
the best batteries i have are the 100mah zcars battteries. i get close to 10mins on a full charge(dual batteries).
