personally I'd say go with r-spec engine and do the dual battery mod with NiMh batteries. 'nuff said!

from what i've heard, the r-spec has pretty good torque and top-end speed, so i'd go with that, and a dual-cell if you can.

Hey i know this has no relation to the topic but i have a quick q, and it not big enough to make a whole thread bout ti so anywayz i heard somewhere that Shen's were also called rally racers, is this true? because i saw one at the mall and it looked really crappy, but if the cars are good, then i would do u dual cell with that, any suggestions? The clone i have right now doesnt seem to work very well. Thanks.

I would get the fastest motor that has enough torque to move the car. (I think that might actually be hard if you use bit racer gears.) So the 4.0's got my vote!
