2speed
2.6 motor single speed
2.6 motor 2speed with the boost
**exact same motor
which one is faster??
does to 2speed have a resistor for the normal speed and turn off resistor with the boost?
how exactly does it work?

uhhhhh
on the boosters theres extra resistors and when you go with out boost they retard the speed then when you hit boost it goes normal check ebay for bit chr-g fairlady or bit char-g auto modellista or lxx auto modellista

I thought it only retards the speed when using a regular car. With the booster cars I heard it actually lets more voltage to the motor when you hit boost. I thikn thats why Rspecs don't mix with Boosters

My R-spec works fine in my Z. All the boost does is pulse current to the motor when you are not hitting the boost key. Some say they are also faster than normal under boost, but a single-speed is still just fine. The 2-speed is good for higher motors, as it aids control.

yea thats what I thought. I was hoping that the two speed provided extra voltage to the motor..or something like that so when you press boost it goes faster than a single speed.
Thanks guys just saved me like $40.00

In my opinion, if u race on a track, any bit with a high speed motor needs a 2 speed. Otherwise there's no way to control the speed thru corners. Unboosted acts like brakes. If u can afford one get it! Plus a 2 speed boosted is faster than a single speed using the same motor in both. I've tested them.
