Check it out!! Lowered my Civic.

Ok, bad news is that I can not fix the steering on my Supra...going to have to replace it with a new one. Will buy one at lunch tomorrow.

Good news for me, is I was able to finally take the dremel to the Civic I have. I slammed 'er...low rida...

I actually had to "tub" out the rear fender wells because the tires rubbed it was so low! That took some time, but overall, I like it.

Here is a pic of the new slot location on front:

Pic of the fronts actually filling in the wheel gap...much cleaner look, and it seems like it handles a bit better on my track too!

And as always, a couple more pics over at:

You would think so....

But not at all! The only thing I had to do was to "tub" out the rear fender wells. The steering is perfect, and on my track, the car "seems" like it handles better. It did lower the center of gravity on the car, but at this scale, I am not sure if it makes a major difference.

Nice!
Did you make a new slot on both the front and back or just the front?

Both....but....

Hey Mech,

I did make one in the front and the rear, but, when I put it in both new slots, the steering was restricted. If I used the stock slot in the rear, and the new one in the front, for some reason it had enough clearance to work ok.
