I love the look of my black skyline with black rims....looks so race ready

I'm thinking of stripping hte chrome off of a set of wheels and making a flatter silver paint (look more like aluminum), and paint thewheel spokes and hub black, and hte outer rim silver.

either way I like the black rims more...the chrome gets to look real ugly as you wear em out and slide into things like stoves and cats and stuff

im still tempted to get one of those schol bus clones and try to go for a 3-battery booster...lowered of course

It'll be like the school bus from cruisin usa....that was the coolest car in that game

Gotta love the Teflon Dubs AKA Black rims!! I love the black rims the best. I made my set from stripping the silver off the wheels. Looks REAL NIIIIIIICE!!

I have a question regarding your painted wheels DriveWRX, how did you get the front wheels to spin freely after you painted them? Mine seem to stick because of the gloss paint.

Well I can get anyone white rims, but you gotta buy the whole car off me for like $14 lol. It's a series of Hen Long clones that only comes with white rims and yellow decaled-out bodies.

I'm partial to the Mach rims of course - the mag wheels with the flywheel lugnuts is classic! I think of the Cobra AC when I look at em. If you get bored of it, these rims are one solid flat piece of plastic so you can paint anything you want on em - happy faces, the Nuke Bomb Shelter sign, etc.

Mask off the rim where the axle pin goes into the wheel. You need to mask off an area bigger than the hole because the axle has a head on it like a pin that overlaps the wheel.

I roughly traced the axle head on mine with a fine tip felt and then after I took it out I used a tiny ball of poster putty to cover up the axle hole and where the axle rides on the wheel. (everything inside the felt circle) If you are painting them white you can't hardly notice the tiny bit of silver around the axle head.
I painted the axle head by hand but only on the flat surface that faces out.

i had my mom buy my brother a "super racing" clone for xmas. i tested it out and put a rare earth magnet in it. its a red wagon with white rims. it looks pimp and is really fast.
