If you got it in the automotive section, it could be a couple of different things.
If it is a "bondo" type filler that you have to mix with hardener, then it's probably not good for bit bodies, too heavy I think.
If it's just a putty meant for scratches and blemishes in paint, then it's probably not good for bits either.
I thought that a 2 part epoxy filler was the putty of choice for this kind of stuff.

Yeah, that stuff is real soft and not good except for filling paint scratches.

You're out of luck man. Go back and return it. I've heard that people have had good luck with a product called JB Weld

It's been known for a long time that several angry posters over there purposely stick around just to give bad advice. They constantly hand out damaging advice to newbies. It's not a very good referance and I personally wouldn't even refer an enemy over there. It's just a guess, but this may be Tiny's reason behind the block. It's a funny board to read. I never post there, but I get a kick out of the purposely given bad advice. I feel bad for the newbies, but the moderators over there asked for it from what I hear and witnessed.

Just went and saw it. Looked pretty sweet. He says it's a Chevy Suburban, but it looks just like the Ford Expedition I bought.
