Easy Mufler Mod
I have made my own mufler with some very cheep parts that anyone can attain.
What you need:
A mechanical pencil (one with the small tube inside that holds the lead)
A large BIC pen that is empty (the kind with ink cartridges inside a plastic casing)
A lighter or some heat source (not a sodering iron, that will melt anything)
A few toothpicks
silver paint
needle nose pliers
If you can not find what I am talking about then find two small tubes, one two times larger than the other.
Directions:
Empty the led from the pencil and take out the tube. Holding the lighter about an inch or two from the tube use use it to heat up one end of the tube so that it is soft. Be sure not to catch it on fire. When it is flexable (sp?) use a toothpick to bend the flexable end to a ninty degree angle so that it looks like half of the bottom of a "U". Let it cool and then cut one side al the way up to the bend and on the other side leave about 1/2 a cm.
Now take the empty, larger tube from the pen and cut it into two pieces. One should be about 1.5-2 cm and the other should be 1 cm. With the lighter agian heat up the 1 cm piece till softness and then take the pointy end of the pen and press it into the tube, causing it to flare out some. the more you push it in the more it flares outward. Do what ever you want with that part. You don't even have to make it flare if you don't want to.
Now to fit it all togeather. Heat up the unflared side of the shorter, thicker pipe and use the pliers to squeze it around the half "U" you made earlier so that it attaches. You can use epoxy if you want, but this worked for me. Also heat up the other larger pipe and squeze the end around the half "U". Use epoxy or putty to block off the open end of the larger, thicker tube.
No that it is done, paint it silver or any color you chose. I used a metalic spray paint from Wal-Mart so that it looks like metal.
Post your pics if you chose to do this mod!

I posted this before I saw the pen tip mod for a mufler, so I guess it is worthless unless you want to rice-out your car.

well im a lazy person, so heres my method:
Take a pen (like the one listed above) and take out the ink tube thing. Try to get an old pen. You'll see why in a minute. Now take a scissor and cut an amount long enough to be a muffler. Now the reason I say OLD pen is because it will be used somewhat. Now if you cut a brand new ink cartridge, you will be splatted with ink. Not good. So use one with some empty space. Or just be careful, wear a smok lol. Anyways, paint it silver, glue it under.

Good point on using an OLD pen. I have had my share of pens busting at school. I have ruined a pair of 40$ pants before!
