You sure you didnt mess up any electrical contacts or get it on the tires? Once you are sure of those, start checking from the tires on back until you get to the motor contacts once again. Be picky. If you or a friend has a 2nd car, compare them to see where the problem could lie.
BTW dry lubes are best for bits.
