you have to buy two cells and it equals 2.6(i think) not three. you can get them from the TinyRC store

but depending on how much u charge it...because sometimes...my 7.2 volt packs for my 1/10 cars goes up to like 8 volts...so the same probably applies to these cars

its only 8V until it hits a load then it drops down to 7.2V and from then on slowly drops down more and more - my 7.2V packs sometimes hit 9+ volts when i peak charge them but it drops right back down - the cells for micros are around 1.2 (more like 1.15) volts n two together in series (not parallel) is 2.4V or so

the dual cell mod is very hard to pull off - especially if you want both cells in the chassis (like i did, although im not the first) - like ive broken the steering wires more than once and now it doesnt steer very well in one direction - i think it was well worth it - its really really fast - like more than twice as fast as a stock car - with the 3.8 and orange gears it is uncontrollable - this is basically a drag/straight line only car - any turn at any speed makes a donut on power - ive still got two stock cars and i use those to race other people - but when i wanna show up some zip zaps or just show what they are capable of i whip it out
