Question Fresh Meat

Oi,
Just got me first zipzap a coupla days ago, got the white
Ford GT...pretty cool, lotsa fun but I can't seem to get th'
bugger to go straight. Been tinkerin' with both adjustments,
they seem real touchy...I can get it close but it still pulls to
either th' left or th' right, can't find dead center yet.
Is it normal to have trouble centering th' steering like this,
or did I get a bad car? Ain't no hair or fuzz in me front wheels,
just can't seem to find center....

Aaaah,
Just hadta keep tinkerin', got 'er dead to rights now....
Been testin' me range, I gots a 27 MHz an I can get about
30-40 feet before I lose control....Bigger antennas on both
th' car and controller should gimme more I think...might try
one of me guitar strings for th' car antenna, hafta find
somethin' fer th' controller thet's longer but will still close
up enough so's it won't mess with th' car fittin' on there...
mebbe just grind off some of th' finial on top if it does....
I dunno....But thet's half th' fun, ain't it?

Uhhh...Arrrrgh matey?

Welcome to the forums and congrats on getting your feet wet with your first ZZ!

If nothing else, the guitar string will provide a nice stiff aerial that'll look a TON nicer than the standard limp wire!

first of all i love your accent i know i cant hear you but damn u write funny second of all the problem may be that one wheel is spining to fast now im an xmoder but im guessing bearings or something that would balance out the wheels would be fine

See, I hate the accent. Any style of writing that makes me take longer reading it makes me not want to at all.

There are no bearings for ZZ's.

The center can be tough to find, just tinker with the trim on the remote. I also find a lot of problems where one of the front tires gets a hair in it causing a friction difference between the two front tires.

There are bearings that are small enough to be fitted to Zips, but they're really expensive. I found a couple of places online that sell micro bearings, but they cost as much as the Zip does. If you where scratch building an anodized frame, fully propo, super macho deluxe Zip maybe, otherwize...
Oh, and welcome to the forums Ratso. I'ma guessin yur playin a bit of EQ or WoW. Pallies rule!
