Funky Steering!
I got a funky steering problem. My Skyline turns on a dime to the right. It does almost a 90 degree turn.
When I tun to the left, it makes this gradual turn. It is almost like the wheels aren't turning all the way. It takes this huge wide turn. I adjusted the trim a few times. I was wondering if it was the magnet? When I flip the car over and look at how the wheels turn, they both seem to turn the same distance. On the ground it is another story
Any other ideas?
thanks

Check the steering magnet, and see if it's centered.. Sounds like it got knocked loose...

If that's not it look at the magnetic coils. I had one that came detached from the sides of the chassis and would just stick itself to the side of the steering magnet instead of pulling it over to turn. if this is the case get some krazy glue and reglue the coil to the side of the chassis. has anyone else seen just about enough of these threads besides me? we need a bigger SEARCH button. . .

Hmmm...
Well, I had a similar kind of problem. I didn't check to see if the steering magnet was the source of the problem because I did some observations by placing my eye on the line of table surface and moving the car. Noticed that the one of the front wheels was a little off the ground thus theres no grip during turning. I just applied careful pressure to bend the spoke down a little till I got it to where I want.
