just bought 5 xmods for $45
hey everyone... i had a pretty good day at the flea market (trader's village). this guy had like TONS of radio shack products that he got from the guy who handles Radio Shack's disposal service (the defects and returns).
he told me that the lowest he can go is maybe 9 or 10 dollars a set. i took 2 rsxs complete, 2 supras and a skyline (all complete) for $45 (9 each).
i tested them all out and everyone of them work accept two of them need resoldering of the battery wires. that's IT. the bodies are in GREAT condition and two of them never even assembled (still attached to the casing and little baggie with screws and what not never touched). the others maybe had minor road rash... nothing as far as eye sores however... pretty cool eh? well... i loaded up. i bought all 5 (all he had). i have his number and he assured me that he could get more (up to 50 or more). so i'm going to buy about 20 or 30 off him next week... build some working complete cars, and maybe make a little bit of a profit. or i might just part it all out.
i now have well into 400+ parts, bodies and accessories. i am seriously considering starting a xmod buisness (lol)... anyways, if anyone needs anything... let ME know

Whoa....That's a familiar name. I was a little freaked out until I saw your location. I live in Granbury and work in Irving. I travel through Arlington daily getting to work. I lived in Arlington for several years. If I were still racing Xmods this would be good news to know I could get parts cheap there. Nice to see someone on the forum that lives close. You're the first I've seen.

Cnograts! I just got my second one, took it out for it's maiden voyage, and cracked the front lip  . Well, at least I know that I need to dremel it off if I wanna drive on the street. No biggie. It happens.

hey man, i was wondering if i could buy a skyline chassis set. alls i want is the working chassis, wheels, body, and the crystal for the controller. bassically everything except the controller. that would be great. maybe 20-25? we can talk. thanks
