Nitro TTTT?
Does anyone have a Nitro TTTT? A .020 engine should give LOTS of power, although a .049 might work if you want a screamer. The fumes and everything are a pain, but if you want power, you just can't beat Nitro. White gas is good for high torque applications, although it can hurt your engine.

where would you get engines that small. ive heard of .15 and .21 but .020 and .049 also is there really enough room for a gas tank. a tank that small would need reffilling every 2 sec. unless it gets like a milligram a mile.

Nitro...
Nitro is overkill for a TTTT application. The first two T's are for 'Table Top'; Trying to shove a gas engine into something that tiny would be well beyond the Point of Diminishing Returns.
Besides, if you COULD get it to work, it wouldn't fit the concept; These are huge military trucks, not stadium jumpers. You're looking for a nice, slow crawl.

Hey, if i remember right, an 049 is bigger than a TTTruck, plus engine vibration will mean the thing will just shake itself to bits.

one more thing about nitro is gas comes out of the pipe which would get all over the stuff you had on your table or whatever you run it on. i thought about making a nitro powered mini x. i figured out how to do it by stretching the chassis and using a small airplane engine. but thats not a TTTT

The real trucks are Diesel powered.
Anyway, they're talking about using RC car and airplane engines. Which run on nitromethanol, and are still too big to go into the 1/87 scale TTTT's. If they tried with 1/35 scale they could probably cram in a tiny engine and fuel tank. But I don't think it would work well even then.
If any of us could afford a real Trial Truck, I doubt we'd be on here building these.

1/35 scale would probably be possible but i doubt those small engines would have the power to move the wheels. arent they high rpm motors?
