This Can't Possibly Be True!!!!!!
Well, I calculated that since the motor rpm for the stock SuperSlick is 14,000 and the stock gear ratio is 6.28:1, then the wheel rpm (how many times in a minute the wheel would rotate) would come to about 2,230. Next, I multiplied that by 4.7 (the wheel circumference in centimeters), and figured that the car would go at about 10,481 centimeters per minute. I divided 10,481 by 2.5 to get inches per minute, which turned out in 4192.5 inches per min, divided by 12, turned out to be 350 feet per minute. Then, I multipied by 60 to get feet per hour, or 21000 feet per hour, then divided by 5,280 to get approximately 4 miles per hour. Then I decided that if you upped the motor to the 22,000 rpm motor, (seeing how 22,000 is about 57% more faster), then 4 mph would be increased by 57% also, so I multiplied 4 by 1.57...to get 6.28 mph. Then, if you changed the gear ratio to 4.4, then the speed would be increased by 43%, so I multiplied 6.28 by 1.43 to get.....approximately 9 mph....Woah....Now you guys may think that I'm nuts here, but check this out: A ZipZap with the purple NX motor and red gears will go at about 3 mph, but I tested my ZipZap SE with the NX motor and green gears against a stock SuperSlick, and the SuperSlick was nearly twice as fast, so I'm guessing it hit the 4 mph I expected. I'm guessing it will do the same with the 9 mph setup.
Now, 9 miles per hour is a scale 387, for the SuperSlick size, while 3 measely miles an hour is a scale 192. So, for it's size, this thing oughta FLY!
Also, I'm thinking that you could go beyond the current SuperSlick gear ratio. You need to pull the pinion off the motor a little bit, so it would stick out and be parallel to the axle gear. But, you'd need like a 10T or 11T pinion gear to touch the axle gear, like a Mini-Z. Anyone know where to find the 10T or 11T pinion gear?

Red gears: 4.4:1 gear ratio
Orange Gears: 5.25:1 gear ratio
Green (stock) gears: 6.28:1 gear ratio
Red motor: 22,000 rpm
Orange motor: 19,000 rpm
Green (stock) motor: 14,000 rpm

Well, due to the slop in the gears, it will be 15% less....so, with red gears and red motor, it might only hit 7 mph.

Wow, just did the calculations. With the new 27k and 3.8:1 motor and gear ratio, this thing would hit about 12.64 MPH...but with the weight and such......about 10.7 MPH! Thats enough to keep up with a stock XMOD!
