my project Honda S-2000

I am starting a s-2000 body mod. it looks ok for now except for the fact that i keep breaking the front. i have not painted it yet and it has neons!! they dont show up in the pics, but they ar somewhat bright. with the alum. foil it does not sine through the body at all. with the alum. foil it is a press fit, but without it fits on with velcro. i am going to paint this and my Flamig Skiline at the same time.(hope to be this weekend ) well, here is the first pic...

Hey, good idea using the aluminum foil to reflect the light for some "underglow" What color is the underglow gonna be? And, just my opinion, is it too safe to be putting the foil all around the car like that? i mean, couldn't it interfere w/ the reception or hurt some electronics, or allow them to overheat by keeping the hot air in and not letting in any cool air? Just my "2 cents", i would leave it on the body, but not on the actual car.

That looks really cool. Where did you get the body? It sorta looks like you may need to shorten the body alittle bit.

yes it is about 1/4 inch longer than it should be. i have taken the foil off the car but left it on the body, just to be safe. i read the idea of puting reflective tape on the body for neons, but i thought alum. foil was just a good, so this is not my idea. i have absolutly no idea where i got the body. it is a model body i got from my lhs and i will look into it more soon. the underglow can be almost any color, like i said the LED setup has many color combinations. it has three leds, a red, a blue, and a green. i can have any combo of these for the underglow. i can even have it constantly change colors!! btw, how do i shorten the body? can i just move the wheel well forward?(i know haw to do that.)

Good idea takin the foil off the car. That LED thing is TIGHT, you need to find where we can get one. And this mod should look pretty tight, keep us posted!

yes i am. i am going to paint the windows black. i can just take the top off. it wont have any thing but the chassie under it though. you can probley get an LED thing like that for around $20 min. my friend made it for me so he just charged me $10 for the parts. he said they were selling them for $50 at rs. i dont know if you can buy them there though, but i know you can buy the parts. the chip in it has to be programed and he knows how to do that. i dont though, sorry. i will ask him tommarow and tell you guys. it would be nice if i had two because one is not as powerfull as i thought. it is just because it is on the top of the car and not on the sides. it would be possible to make a tube that has reflective material inside it and have the "guide" the light down the sides. i will try to do this. ill tell you how it turnes out.
