i would jus shave new slots into the shell, or do Drive WRX's. i think its his sorry if i havent given credit but its putting a new tab underneath the existing one so it slots in at a lower level

just cut the mounting tabs off and mount new ones lower with some super glue.. should be strong enough to hold the light wieght of the car, and the pressure used to remove the body.. course this would be modifying the chassis and if you fuxor it up well... if you cut new slots into the body.. then fill the old holes in with some plastic hobby filler.. available @ most hobby shops comes in a tube like the model car glue.

Ok this is what I did to lower my body! I took a x-acto knife(remember only for the skyline body) and you see the plastic right above the tab there? Make a lil hole there so you can press your tab up! so now youll have a lowered body! But CAUTION! You need to shave out the front wheel wells and also leave enuf clearance so that the wheels can TURN! This is ALSO TO YOUR OWN RISK! But the good news is ive done it BE4!!!! It works Just be very carefull at how you do it!

This is what I've done to my WRX. I'm working on a step-by step with pictures of how to cut and re-glue the tabs lower.
One tip I can give you: Be careful to superglue into the correct position the first time, otherwise you'll weaken the plastic everytime you re-glue it, and it will look like crap eventually.
Also, the pressure on the new tab may be more then it was before, so you might want to sahve a bit of plastic off the end when you cut it, to make sure that the tab doesn't break off. (Eric re-reads his post and scratches his head, wondering if it makes sense... Meh)
