Mind if I ask a stupid question about a topic that was possibly covered already and may appear ridiculous amongst all this high tec stuff. I have a manual that seems to say not to use rechargeable batteries in the combat digi q controllers but is there any form of rechargeables that can be used. Would appreciate info.
The reason they say not to use them, is cuz some rechargables cant handle recharging the cell(s) inside the tanks... -- if you were to say use teh 4 bay charger to charge your tanks there is no problem using rechargables...
I plan to use rechargables any way, preferably the I-C3 rayovacs...
thanks Draconius thats helpful. I'm making enquiries regarding the tank charger and adaptability to the UK/ Irish 240 ac mains voltage where I live. Hope to get myself a fast battery charger tomorrow I see some 1hr Ni Mh chargers nearby. It'll have plenty other uses. Good Luck
I use NiMH, 1800mAH batteries in all my controllers (I have 4 tanks, 4 controllers). Never had a problem with using the controller or charging the tanks.
