Didn't know if anyone was running this setup but I pulled my evo Mustang off the shelf and attempted to make it faster with a better gear setup. I used only the stage II RS motor and put spacers in to fit the bigger (12)pinion gear onto the (25)spur gear. I locked the diff and custom made bigger drag tires using the old worn out stock med-slicks for the rear. Only using the stock 4x cell setup I beat a hybrid 6th cell in every race. This setup is no joke and will tear up the stock differential spider gears, snap the plastic dog bones like twigs, and grind down the insides of wheels. This setup requires a lot of attention to the engine but I swear it's faster than a 6th cell if you know how to maintain your engine. It WILL NOT beat a stronger engine but should definetly be considered if you have one.
