Xmods are great because they are low in price and easily modifyable. I've seen other people talk about really good motors for pretty cheap, I'd like to see them go up against a Mini Z so we can compare speed/price.
Do the NML motors beat the Mini Zs?
If so how much would it cost to buy a Mini Z and get it to the same point as an Xmod w/ NML?
Would it cost more to buy an xmod and upgrade it to the point of a Mini Z or would it cost more just to buy the Mini Z?

the miniz uses "hobby grade" electronics so to get an xmod up to par with a miniz would be expensive. I think with the same motor a miniz will take the xmod even if it were awd. just my 2 cents. I still think the xmods are pretty cool. I would have rather got a mini x though.

I have a love/hate feeling for the Xmods. LOL
They have a lot of good things going for them and a few problems I hope to see fixed in the coming months.
I wonder what the next big thing will be, I'm sure its right around the corner and soon we will be looking at that and the Xmods will fade away a bit.(it always happens, it happens faster and faster everyday)

Love xmods dont have 1 but they are awesome. Not 2 much of a mini-z person though like 2 have 1 2 race but just for that. Simply because they have some cool bodys but no body kits or anything else of that matter.

unloyal
I'm never loyal to ANY brand. That's just what the corporation wants. Hah! lets' get these kids hooked on these things and we'll make tens or hundreds of millions of dollars. The only thing I have to say to those that are brand loyal to Pepsi, Nike, Chevrolet, Nokia etc......S-U-C-K-E-R!!!!!

I guess that I am sorta loyal to mini r/c's. Not just XMODS, I have some microsizers and zip zaps around here. As for the price of XMODS, I'd have to say you cant pass this offer up compared to the price of the mini-z.

im super loyal to xmods. but i dont buy much products for it becuase im low on cash.
i think they are better than mini z's in ratio. a mini z costs about twice as much, but isnt twice as cool.
