I have a question
I have a very slippery basement. When ever I drive it spins out of control. If I buy the AWD kit will that prevent me from spinning out as much? Or should I just buy the tire upgrade kit?

the AWD should help. it will put enery equally in all 4 wheels giving u better control. the tire upgradi should work to. you could rub ur tires on a smooth but not that slippery surface for 2 mins.

the awd does wonders on a slick surface. i was over at my friends house and in his basement he has lynoleum. we were racing around the pool table (so only about 15x 10 ft) and with all wheel drive i was going full speed and drifting the turns easilly. he would spin out at like 1/2 to 3/4 speed.

I run on a slippery basement concrete floor. I switched to softer rear springs and rear tires from the tire and suspension upgrade kits. The difference is like night and day compared to the stock setup. The AWD kit would give you even better traction I am sure. I personally like the stock 2 wheel drive setup because it requires more driver skill to drive fast in my opinion. I own a 4 wheel drive mini-x so I know about the traction benefits of 4 wheel drive. I just prefer 2 wheel drive.

the 4wd all so take a different kind of skill. on the 2 wd you need to try to keep the car going strait on 4wd its hard to get the back end out for drifts or tight turns so you need to get good with the throttle

I think that you should discuss this in either the mods and project section or the gallery section. But to answer your question, I'd go with red skyline.
