im looking to get an xmod,, i need info!!!
Ok, what starter kit is the best to get? Other than personal preferance on what body i want(not sure yet) are the frames different sizes or are they all the same with interchangeable bodies? do some kits have different upgrades available? just checking my options..
also, what are the available start up kits out there,, can you get the wrx in a start up kit?
oh, almost forgot,, does the start up kit come with everything i need to make it run? or will i need other things as well?
Any info would be great
thanks

It's a Mini Z body.

all of tha starter kits have long wheelbases with tha exception of the 350z, RSX, and NSX...not shure about the 'vette or tha mustang tho...but those 3 have the medium wheelbase...(does anyone else wonder if RS in gonna put tha short wheelbase to any use at all?)...when and if you upgrade to li-ions, the longer wheelbased xmods will have an advantage cuz there will be more control...the xmods w/ shorter wheelbases tend to flip over when makin high speed turns. as for upgrading you xmod once you get tired of playing w/ it stock, just look around and you'll find plenty of mods and upgrades to do and/or order

Every body is on long beside's the RSX.
NSX should be long.
Why not get a Mini Z or MRS4?
They have a HUGE line of parts.
(if you're looking for thing's to mod)

I do not know about the NSX, but I do know that the 350Z is the LONG chassis. RSX is the only short one that I've seen.
Not really sure why they did it this way either.

I've seen the Ferrari bodies on xmods before. Alot of people really like them, but I don't like the wheel gap that it leaves.

Well the advantage is that you would be different and it looks really cool.
Disadvantage: With most of them you need to custom fabricate them to the XMOD chassis, which in some cases can be a mess and frustrating at times...But if you can pull it off nice its looks awesome. Just be prepared to do some custom fabrication though...

In the long run, Mini Z's are cheaper.
And MRS4's and M18's are more fun. (dunno about cheaper)

I have to say go for the Iwaver-01 or the 02 which will be out soon. Its the best mini-z clone and is cheaper then an Xmod but with better quality. And some hot bodies. Just my opinion on things...

The IW02 is an awsome value.
$80 gets you a MR02 style chassis and a LCD 2AM Tx!
(Look's like they based it off of the Futaba 3PL)
