painting gone horribly wrong!

Well i just bought my mustang zz se last weekend. pretty sweet. anyway, i didnt like the way the bodys red, and the roof was black. so i decided to paint it.

I work at a detailing shop, so i brought it to work to paint it. anyway, my boss at work wanted to paint it. well he's sort of like my sub boss, but anyway, i figured he'd do a better job then i would, so i let him.

he sprayed the first coat on and it kinda fisheyed. he wanted to wet sand a bit, so he thought he'd dry it fast- so he took the hair dryer to it. its a really powerful industrial strength hair dryer we have at work. we use it to remove decals from cars and stuff.

well of course my little mustang totally warped and melted. sp much for painting it.

so i took the light circuits out. they still work so thats good. but now i have a zz se without a body. hurting, eh?

what should i do with it now?

You can buy a SE body kit, there are a few of them in the local RS's.

As for painting, what kind of paint did he use? As for drying, it's best to let it air dry.

it was some white spray paint we had at work.

i was already planning to buy the trans am body kit. what do you think of transplanting the lights into the trans am shell?

ive also noticed that its alot faster without the body. and lower too. it can go under the fridge now!

body kits for two bodies are only around $5... but they might only fit the regular zipzaps... I don't know if they have body kits for the SE
